This trip was from a few weeks ago, we were over Savannah, GA from West Palm, about 12,000 lbs burning, 780 lbs at mach .6
Gary What are the 2 indicators I've placed red arrows beside?
The top one is the Expanded Localizer pointer, and the bottom one is Rate of Turn

I would do it again. It took awhile to get to cruise AOA, but it cleared up our gap on radar, and after 10 minutes we went VMC. Thats nice when working around the big stuff. I didn’t quite realize what effect climbing above the weather would have on you:) Robert

Sounds like a job for a TBM. Username Protected wrote: Or a red Eclipse! Luc just needs enough GW for he and Nancy and her bags. Can’t have you guys tagging along cramping his style. No need for bigger plane like JC.

Yup, I keep coming have back to that one. TBM is best suited for my missiona and my skills and learning capacity. (And budget). I watched a series of very good YouTube movies about a guy who transitioned from Cirrus to the Cirrus jet using their program. This humbled me. I honestly didn’t think I could do that and pass it. Very sad realization.

Luc, I've never met you, but from reading your posts about your flying on here, I have no doubt you could learn to fly a jet. Ride in the right seat with me or anyone else for a few trips. Once you get the flows, procedures, SOPs, all you then have to do is condition yourself for flying at a faster speed. It's easily doable for someone who wants to do it and is current on instruments. You won't get turned loose single pilot immediately, but it will come sooner than you think. If you think you can fly a turboprop, you can fly a jet. It's much easier.

Birthday bash in KTEX this weekend. John L being one of the birthday boys. Ken C, A friend to many jet BTers was another. Plane loads came from around the country to celebrate. Including: 2 CJ2’s, CJ3, Encore, M2, C550, Meridian. Fun times.
Maybe 10 BTers in attendance out of 75. Good to have friends.
