Tim What kind of airplane gets turbo charger leak and pumps CO into the cabin?

Sweet! The bet is over and we have winners (both of us... an excuse to play golf, eat mexican food and drink some beer). Let me know a good time for golf in your area and I'll be there! Matt Username Protected wrote: Alex,
I don't care about the outcome of the "debate", but an excuse to play golf somewhere nice is always appealing.
So... I'll take either side of the bet... Location: Chapel Hill, North Carolina or Kiawah Island, South Carolina.
If that's appealing just let me know which side of the bet you want :-)
Matt
Bet's on! I say Cirrus won't have it certified before this thread hits 260 pages - if I'm right, we'll play in SC! Otherwise, I'll treat you to beer and Mexican food while we golf in SMA.

Are there any performance charts?

I see this as an excuse for a BT golf event.... Sounds fun. Username Protected wrote: Sweet! The bet is over and we have winners (both of us... an excuse to play golf, eat mexican food and drink some beer).

I've been looking, but haven't had any luck finding performance data. Anybody got anything?

I am happy that Cirrus got it delivered this year but I am also dubious about the lack of objective data on it's performance. Hopefully, one of the mainstream magazines will have an evaluation soon. In the meantime, maybe one of the Cirrus owners, who often post here, can offer some inside info.

The request was for objective data, something I have been looking for also.
What's the fuel burn, climb rate, hot and high performance and all the rest. Can't find anything anywhere except cirrus marketing numbers.
FIKI? Chute video?
Anybody seen the TCDS?

I really don't think that it matters. People buy this jet for different reasons. It's a market that is untapped and Cirrus seems to be in tune with its target market. Good luck to them, aviation needs success stories. Andrew.
