I thought so too, but the video might have created an illusion of dragging it in; it seemed flatter than a 3 degree approach which would have given a smoother ride over the terrain, and lower fuel burn.. Just sayin'. If that was the case, the Chief Pilot would have had my a$$ in the fuel hog Lear 24. But if that wasn't the case, disregard.

Looked flat to me too but hey, he can't go below the glideslope in a turbojet so we know it wasn't My guess is the wide angle lens on the video camera contributes to the flat look. And hey, see my comment about the altitude displaying in the video CLIMBING on short final and after the landing (!!) that I posted I think on the previous page shortly after the video. I think the climb indication is an artifact of the way the camera is deriving altitude which may not be appropriate in a pressurized plane.

Maybe Mike needs to move closer to a ski hill!

The way I remember it, TEX has a big bump in the middle of the runway. Technically, after a successful landing you can log "climb" time taxing your way to the ramp. For all those critiquing the landing... * Mountain landing * Telluride skiing * In a jet Sheeesh, it looked perfect to me.

:-)
Erwin, I moved back to Florida to sell our orgs. This was my first opportunity to get back.
If no one knows, Mark is an ex pro ski racer, he goes down on rails. He gave me way more tips today than I could comprehend. He put in a solid day on the mountain.
We gonna get him sailing and kiting this summer.

The wind has been honking in Pompano and it's been pretty good. The main issue is the swell.........hitting the bumps at speed ain't for week knees.
