Was a pretty good stream too. It little bit goes a long way on a while cowling for sure, but it was a pretty steady stream out through the prop for the last few minutes, and seemed like he dumped more than a few quarts in the same amount of minutes.

I think I’m just reading the cliff notes for the next video. Dude, doesn’t need 3 videos to tell us he had an oil leak and probably nothing damaged. The only interesting thing will be if the thing went into limp mode.

Well at one point on LiveATC he states that he “lost the engine”, so maybe it went into limp home mode, maybe it initiated Engine Protection Shutdown, and maybe it just seized. Either way he lost the function of the engine. We’ll have to stay tuned for the next exciting episode.

I think most would want a tear down to see if any damage occurred. I’m sure he will be happy if limp mode saved the engine. I wouldn’t be so happy. I want that engine to destroy itself if necessary to get me that extra 2 miles if needed.

Peter is always upbeat. In a way, it’s gotten him past all his hurdles but for the wrong reasons. In another way, when you don’t know what you don’t know, you can be upbeat.....

If he did blow the motor, perhaps he can fix some of the bandaids applied previously.
Seems to me for the fuel burn, he should get more power.
Surely 300hp would do better than 140 kts.
They guy seems to be a pretty good pilot

Looks like the only smart thing i did was move to mostly biotech, they are all soaring.
