54 years of it. Lots of racing including a couple years professionally. Also taught and ran a ski school. I hope I can by now.

I was thinking that living next to some of the best skiing in the midwest might have something to do with it. I'd also bet that you didn't make enough as a ski instructor to own and operate a Mustang and R44.
Indeed. On all counts. It’s an R66 now
It's why I started slingin' frozen water.

Indeed this has been a recurring problem on some mustangs. Many think it's the battery but I have had the problem on my right engine even when using a GPU. And also even when stored in a heated hangar which is the case in telluride. In my case it seems like it's altitude related. PW and Cessna are all over it. We will see.

Seriously, great vids and great work with your daughter! Hope she goes for advanced ratings soon after PPL.
To the thread topic...a buddy has a Merdian. Various issues have caused a “what is next” conversation. He was looking at King Air, potential leaseback, etc... My thought is to skip that and go to Mustang. Probably (unknown to me never having flown a Mustang) easier to handle in a OEI than a C90. For his mission he does not need a bigger plane. Just go there and be “done with it”? I would. It's a dream to fly. And quiet.

Mark, does your right engine run a few degrees hotter than your left and burn a few more PPH too? Or is it right in line with the left?
