Since I operate off of pavement 90% of the time, I would have chewed up the Alaskan Tires very very quickly. These will last a very long time. i know it will screw up the aerobatic quality, but I really didn't get this plane for aerobatics. I looked really hard at a scout, which can't do them, but couldn't find one that I liked and was in as good of shape as this airplane. Now to find some river beds and back country strips! -jason
