How many AMU's? I don't think anybody really knows yet; the ViperJet website has been half-finished forever. http://viper-aircraft.com/home_f.htmlIf I wanted a two-seater, I think I'd be looking at jet warbirds first. Proven designs, fairly cheap and an incredible support network for the best of them.

"Under a Million$$" is a lot of money for a little bity airplane like that. Not very effective for the "personal air taxi" ops either.

We're screwed. It exists. It's called "buy used". If they had a single engine VLJ out now, I wouldn't buy it new. I'd wait a couple years and buy one with 100 hours on it.

There are a lot of planes out there more capable for $1 Million. Don't forget that Viper Jet is fully aerobatic! Worth the price of admission!

I'll tell you what, I used to own a Piper Cheyenne and I bought it with the engines at TBO. I did a hot section and placed it on the MORE program. It was great. I think the same is a great idea for any turbo-prop if you want to go there. I just can't see buying anything new that depreciates like an airplane (or really a car for that matter).
Buy it with high time engines, sell it with high time engines, you don't lose anything.
