For equal money I can't see why anyone would choose the Meridian. The extra million sways some people to the Piper. I looked at the Meridain and could live with the mission profile and price but lack of headroom ended my research. I'm just over 6ft but have a long back.

Sure, new. But a 2006 TBM is the same price as a 2011 Meridian. Buyers looking for a turboprop single will consider both -- they're in the same market niche.

If I have a 30K budget, I can get a new Ford, or a 5 year old, low mile, clean, Lexus that was 50K new, for the same 30K. I am going to consider it.

Agreed, I do not believe the owner/pilot who is considering the purchase of a new aircraft is going to be interested in a 5 year old aircraft. It is not my intention to demean the used aircraft market, there is nothing wrong with a 5 year old or a 50 year old aircraft for that matter. It is just that the motivations and criteria that lead you to purchase a new aircraft probably preclude you from buying a 5 year old aircraft. Just my .02. Chris

So your S35 is in the same market niche as this, because they are both piston singles, and they both cost the same? http://www.controller.com/listingsdetai ... 166274.htm

Isn't that a Canadian stealth bomber?
