Do Cessna Pilots consider the weight of the step ladder they carry to fuel the plane as part of their usefull load?

Cessna's come with step ladders already bolted to the wing strut and cowl.

So what's the deal with the rear view mirror? Maybe for checking for traffic while passing on the taxi lane.

Russ

Those mirrors are there to see the Bonanza flying up their a___ and about to pass 'em :duck:

BREAK BREAK

I'm sorry, what rear view mirrors? The only Cessna I've ever flown with one was a 180 hp C-150 with one on the wing strut, used for glider towing.
Back to your regularly scheduled C-bashing.

My Skylane has never been graced with those awful steps. I gain 0.25 knot without them and maintain my dignity.

I much prefer taxiing close to a Bonanza wing when needing a step up to check my tanks. :duck:

Why do owners of marginally faster aircraft allways face a 30kt headwind, never a 30kt tailwind ? ;)

Depends which way they're going.

With the 30 kt tailwind he's still there 42 minutes later and I'll only burn 4.3 gallons more :D

My Cessna 150 had the rearview mirror. Thought it was GREAT for maintaining runway centerline on departure climb!

Didn't have the built on steps, though. Had to carry a ladder :tape:

Spooning! I hadn't thought of it that way, but that's awesome. Now all I have to do is find my plane a mate.

Thats bordering on just plain wrong. My plane would never be put into a position to be a Cessna's Beech.
