Some commuter airlines in Alaska and the Caribbean manage to stay in business operating Cessna Caravans. Probably not turning $2M into $3M though.

What about long term dry leasing? It seems there should be a market for this for companies that want to try an aircraft for say a year or so without the commitment. Or maybe don't want to show an aircraft on the balance sheet.
