Maybe easier to guess what it will NOT be. It won't be a more capable SR22 - 6 seats, pressurized, or anything of the like.
I guess Piper's M series remains the only game in town.

I guess Piper's M series remains the only game in town. Is there room for a 6-seat pressurized airplane between the SR22 and the VisionJet? Would the price be too close to the jet for it to be viable?

Doing without creature comforts we’ve grown to take for granted in cars doesn’t make you a better pilot. I can't imagine a situation where I'd be willing to drop a million dollars on anything piston powered, let alone a piston single. Long before that I'd be on the phone to Tarver with my wallet in hand.

Good point, and sadly that sounds like it would be the case given current market economics. It would be nice if there were real improvements in the existing lineup - like more seats or a faster, more capable RG plane - which would have happened in the past, but with prices as high as they are, maybe those days are over.

Gotta be the trainer, the SR10 or whatever. Why else would they hold the event this late at night? 7PM EST? This way those in China can see it in the AM.

I would be an interested party for a model based on the 36, larger cabin, seats 6, SETP, no need for chute, pressurized, flies 250kts in the FLs, 1200lbs full fuel UL. All with Bonanza styling, call it Bonanza NG (Next Generation)
