I wouldn't say that, I dont know how many time im flying nice and smooth at FL270/280 when all the airlines are complaining of rough air above FL300 and then they start coming down to my altitudes. Y a ok we can slow down to PC12 or Meridian speeds if the SHTF. Username Protected wrote: Jets, hands down!
Wing loading certainly is a big deal, used to think it was everything - until we owned a TBM. The TBM rides like a tank in turbulence, taxiing, everywhere. It is built too strong - the wings just don't give enough. The only solution is to slow way down. The TBM is a great plane but a smooth ride is not it's strong point.

Of course you wouldn't say that You have a TBM and are currently under the spell of the French
