Hey guys...Keith has reached out to me. Says it is all true and doesn't understand why we are dissing him. Didn't ever check back on his OP so doesn't know it is closed. He has committed to fly the CJ4 to me and have lunch in which case I will vouch for him.

Looking forward to it Keith! :woot:

Wouldn't it be easier to just post pictures and a tail number?

Mark has the tail number.

Guys, quite the outright libel. Feel free to contact me privately if you need further information. I have nothing to hide.

Ok Keith, Post a picture of yourself next to the airplane with you holding up a current Wallstreet Journal for proof.

Thanks

Not too many Cessna 525C airplanes with > 1 April 2015 Certificate of Registration issue dates in the FAA registry.

FlightAware of those vs. Duncan locations ought to narrow it down, unless more than one of those N-numbers is blocked.

Who's going to figure it out first ?

The tail number is N154GV. But please guys, just stop. This is getting ridiculous. I have no problem getting to know others on here, meeting people on the road, etc. But please quit trying to play detective, based on what my gut feeling says is envy. People told me others would be envious. I never believed them. Now I do.

Keith-

I've read all of the posts in the thread you started about upgrading to a CJ4. A high percentage of us dream about having the means to own and fly a jet like the CJ4. So, a thread like yours is going to attract a lot of eyes.

However some of the things you posted here don't add up. In a separate thread, you posted that you are an airline pilot, yet in the first post in your CJ4 thread you stated that the CJ was a "big step up" for you and that you needed to get a "type and multi-engine rating". Obviously, you can't be an airline pilot and fly the airline route you claimed to be flying and not have a multi-engine rating. Can you explain your posts?

It doesnt take very long to figure out tail numbers owned by Cessna. You will have to come up with something better than that to convince people that you aren't pulling our legs. I still don't believe you.

It takes a while for transactions to show up in the FAA database. He could absolutely be telling the truth. But there are enough inconsistencies in his posts to cause doubt. Surely, Keith, you can understand why some don't believe you. Are you an airline pilot?

Keith,

I think I can speak for a lot of people here when I say that we were thrilled for you. Then we felt like suckers.

Now, it seems like you are legit, but you can understand a lot of us felt we were taken for a ride. A particularly rough and stinging ride at that, because we are all airplane nuts and so many of us have the dream of stepping into turbine equipment.

Jets are just flat out a damn cool dream and you sharing with us a jump into jet, make that a new jet, make that a new jet at the very top of the jet food chain (single pilot) - well you got our undivided attention and by God we wanted to be there with you.

A lot even chipped in with some kind advice and thoughts.

So when it appeared to be a ruse I'm sure you see the collective scorn and shame.

But hey, welcome back. And I can guarantee you all will be forgotten in a nanosecond once we see your smiling mug looking out the side window of that baby. :pilot:

What is humorous about the egregious thread creep of which I am a party is that the original thread title fits the new thread direction just fine... :tape: :)
