Nope, so I can carry skis or golf clubs (no pressure bulkhead) and 300lbs more cargo

first XC today with the new cylinders, all previous flights were local area flights doing the break-in procedures

i think it may be faster, seeing around 182KTAS at 8000ft, 2400rpm and LOP, 15.8GPH

When the weather clears and i get a small oxygen gauge issue resolved ill climb higher and see what the performance is

here's an inflight vid i did to gather the numbers

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8yH8YHiGiXo

caught a little shot of destin coming in to land

Beautiful airplane. I have a normally aspirated ES. I love it.
Is yours turbo or turbo normalized?

Greg

I believe it's the only example of a turbo normalized ES

I worked with tornado alley since they are what my research concluded to be the best in class, very satisfied with the outcome

Yes it's equipped with the thermawing for which I've had to use once and only once and it worked to get me out of a jam

Icing at tops 16,000ft in Charlotte bravo arrival corridor with lost comms due to ATC not responding

Stalls a little under 70 and over the fence at 85-90

I haven't gathered and ROP cruise numbers to compare to the Corvallis and others who routinely use those for bragging rights

But I'll see what I can do, I am guessing 230ktas or better at 23-25k feet ROP would be doable

Beautiful! Do they still sell the ES? I always loved that airplane, it reminds me of the old Wheeler Express
