funny, I skied and had some beers with McConkey in Portillo around 11 years ago as well, they were filming a Warren Miller ski movie there. He was doing some crazy mountain base jumps with ski landings...

I look at this stuff with the understanding that if the odds on success are 1000/1 and you do it 1001 times, the doctor says "boy, you gonna die".
