Are you sure you can:
1. Wait for a slot in a P&I shop to open up....it might be a while.... 2. Wait the 2-3 months to complete the project and be planeless?
Buy a jet. A nice jet...
Peace, Don Paint shop has a slot for right after I have the wing removal done. 2-3 months? I was hoping for 6 weeks.

Yes, I thought you would. Classic, classy. This one may be matte finish. All the rage in Europe, I don’t care for it.

Right. Plus, it absorbs, hides the lines. I cringe when I see one. Some design team spent years designing pretty lines, then you go and hide them. Tsk tsk tsk. It’s like changing wheels on Mercedes where a team designs the optimum wheel shape, weight and center of gravity to maximize the suspension’s and brakes’ effectiveness. Only to ruin it in 5 minutes. Downtown Moscow full of matte black Mercedes G class, S class and 7 series Beemers. All owned and driven by the Russian mob.

Chump change to pimp it out from what you would have in a jet. No doubt. I've done the math and that's exactly what I'll do..... if I do it. Pimp it out, keep it another few years. See what the market is doing then.

How many of your passengers have said, "You know what, this airplane sucks, later dude." ...I bet none, pimp the thing out and fly on.

Thinking about you selling the boat also...is it possible you need an entirely different itch scratched? The Pilatus and the boat seem to have reached maturity with you. Some sort of boredom/midlife crisis? Not trolling; serious question. Maybe some sort of amateur boat or car racing as a hobby? Buy a hot rod aerobatic plane? Maybe a turbine warbird? No offense meant if I'm off base. I'm getting the feeling you're looking for a hill to climb.

The full fuel payload is only 750lbs. Maybe I did the math wrong but I don’t think that thing is going Atl to ASE with a full load of people, high speed cruise and reserves to go missed at aspen and get back to Denver.
FltPlan is showing around 5500# of fuel required for that trip so that would leave you with 1250# of available payload. That shouldn’t be a problem with Jason’s pax. The CJ4 has a larger full fuel payload than the PC24 but a lot smaller cabin and longer takeoff and contaminated runway requirements.
