BRM Hopefully cleaning the bendix and lubing it will solve the problem. Might replace it with a sky tech anyway for the lighter weight and just to me new. I will be happy if my vibration goes away and I gain 5 knots, but will be real happy if I get anywhere near 10 knots. Currently getting 215 knots at 65% and LOP. I really want 220 or more.

Is that kinda like the saying:
You know what they say about guys with big hands?
They wear big gloves. Ha!

They have to get the starter going, calibrate the G3X, calibrate the autopilot, and then drain all the fuel to calibrate the fuel gauges in the G3X. Should be able to fly Saturday if they get everything done Friday, but not holding my breath. They quoted this job at 90 hours. They have 350 hours in it so far

You need to sell a few more cars, obviously... Well, you know what I am looking for... Going to look at one Saturday....

Yeah, no kidding. I picked up the POH just to remember the speeds and procedures. I also will watch the YouTube videos I made to remind me
While it was up on jacks we ran the gear up and down and did a manual pump down of the gear. That is the first time I have manually put the gear down, so that was nice experience so I know what to expect if the real deal comes.

I'm surprised whoever checked you out didn't do that. I am thinking of changing planes, and have to admit the Glasair III is a very interesting option. Wanna trade for a light TN A36?
