Does anyone have experience with either or both of these? Know another source? I don't really know if the cuffs will add a perceptible difference in airspeed, although one could make the argument for less interference drag. You will for sure like the way they look. Here's another "speed mod" that was on the original equipment list of my 180. After much looking, I found spares. I've always loved the original aluminum wheel pants, but I can't use them because i still land at my ranch airstrip. (To call it unimproved is an understatement). Also, my wife calls them wheel "panties"... TN

I was admiring the wingtips on a straight backed 172B yesterday and stand amazed on the craftsmanship of the old birds as displayed on the brake cover. The fillets between the wing and fuselage are another example.

I wonder if that’s a composite cowl? No visible seams anywhere.

Change of subject, but I read a headline today about a possible AD coming out on 185s, and earlier 180s and 182s. Cracks in the tail section. Does anyone know which model 180s they are looking at?
Edit. Found all the info. An extension of a Cessna service letter... Inspect and repair of required.
