Just saying. I'm hoping that the numbers are correct. With increased air, you lower ITT, but you increase torque in order to get more power. That changes your max cruise settings and other parameters. Hopefully Jim will provide the data on that.

I'm excited for those of you this applies to! Hope it works out.

I'm sure they've analyzed the heck out of that cowl 9 ways to Sunday. Call me skeptical! Skeptical bastard!!!! The engineers may not be as interested in speed as we are. The torque has to go up significantly (I assume) in order to get that speed. 18knots is serious!!! P&W limit the torque in the max power settings, as does Pilatus in the guages. Just curious what the answers to those questions are. I'm liking the NGX a little more now that I've gone over it. I wonder with the Fadec improves engine efficiency?

The speed v jet never bothered me much. I love the big, nice cabin of the NGX. I'd love to see some pictures of the lav.

The engineers may not be as interested in speed as we are. Alright bud, will let you drop the 85k and let us all know how it works out! I mentioned all this to the owner of the one I fly and the only things that interested him were the quiet mode and WiFi.

Likely the same way the King Airs have been doing it forever. I believe it's just an electric heater on the fuel lines at the engine [could be wrong - from memory].
KA's don't require prist. I've never understood why PC12s do...

Heated fuel is nice, but it's still a good idea to add prist for it's anti-fungi/microbial benefits.

Other aircraft, primarily jets, certify without prist by testing with the specified amount of water in the fuel. These have a heated (usually engine oil) engine filter.
The problem in the past on PT-6 installtions is that the installation manual requires an airframe fuel filter in addition to the engine fuel filter. A bypass indication is also required on newer (post mid 70's) designs.
Since the filter is required, it must be protected from ice. It would be difficult, but not impossible, to provide ice protection, likely involving a bleed air to fuel heat exhanger. Prist has been the usual solution. Some sort of ELOS or exemption might be possible, but I don't know that it has ever been pursued. I believe at least some King Airs were certified before the requirement existed.
Don't know what Pilatus did.
The electric heaters mentioned previously protect the Py lines and do not heat the fuel.
