There is a Google map with pins on the cjpfuel home page.

Excellent I will take a look.
I was a member of CJP for a year and all I really did was lurk.
It's a very good organization. Lots of love for the citation but very little BS facts just good info.
We could use more like it.
Edit. Just looked could not find map with FBOs.

What kind of real world range are you seeing on the Pilatus? No wind I've made Atlanta to LA non stop. Coming home with 30 knot tail wind I do Napa Valley to Atlanta non stop regularly. That's kinda max. It's a 7 hour airplane.

Reports say that the Pilatus PC-24 will have a 'low idle' feature on the right engine that acts like an APU. Sounds interesting not having to maintain another engine/APU.

Also depends on how much wine is onboard when the door closes.

Username Protected wrote: How much gas does an apu use? At the jet I'm buying this year it is around 150 pph.
The Citations are setup to run the right engine on the ground to power the aircraft and heat/cool the cabin. It would burn around 180 PPH on the ground.
I won't do that sitting on a FBO ramp. Too much danger for people walking around.
I have ran only the right engine on a taxiway if I get extensive delays for release due to ATC or weather. I can quickly fire up the left engine and get rolling.

I've been in a conga line where it was clear it would be awhile before departure, but I had to scoot up every few minutes. Yes, I can taxi on one. Turns to the right take some effort to get it going that way. If you need all the fuel for your flight and have a ground delay shutting down the left side on the ground until takeoff and then balancing out the fuel once in the air can make a difference. If I am sitting on the ground on a ramp with one running I will tell tower or ground I have shut one engine down and to give me 2 minutes warning before takeoff clearance.

I will alternate which engine I start first between right or left unless I need an engine started with the door open. May be an OWT but that should even out the wear of the starts over time. Not sure it makes a difference if on an engine program. But it is habit from my twin PT-6A days.

Jason,
Would bet you could taxi on one, also....
