Yes, by far from what I've heard.
If I remember correctly he can cruise at 315ktas and tops around 325ktas.

Here is a look at what my panel will be like. This one isn't mine but very similar. Attachment: IMG_7530.jpg

Well I fly out tomorrow to see the airplane in paint and I just received a photo from the painter of one of the wings. Check it out! Attachment: image1.JPG

What is it like to get in and out of it? Do you step on the seats? What about the back seats? This is a great thread, thanks for showing us.

It's actually quite easy to get in the back seats. You step down into it but the way the door opens and the front seat moves forward it's a wide open space to get into the back. The front is a bit more tricky. You can have a mat made so you could step on the seat to get in, which would make things easier otherwise it's not the easiest thing to get into. That would be my #1 complaint. It could be easier to get in and out of for the Pilot seats.

Username Protected wrote: Interesting thought. It's looking you'll be flying soon. How long will this project take from first check written to first flight? Then how does this compare placing an order for a factory built airplane. Of al new airplane acquisitions I've been around they is always a wait. It seems like you'll be in the air with a completely custom airplane faster. It should be somewhere in the 6-7 month time frame. I'm not sure how long it usually takes with a new ordered factory plane.

With the front seat of the Tiger though you can flip up the front seat cushion with your toe and step onto the "platform" that the seat cushion rests on before stepping onto the floor and letting the cushion drop back into place.

So the airplane hasn't been finalized with paint yet today. I did go see it and even without the clear coat the blue pearl really popped on the white. These photos really don't do it justice. Attachment: DSC00694.jpg A closer look at the pearl. You can see it highlight on the curves in the image here but again, the picture doesn't do it justice. Attachment: DSC00695.jpg
