Nice greaser Mark - how do you get that inset image in your videos? What software are you using?

Alex:

Two first generation Garmin virbs with latest software. When you import to VIRB edit
select clip and hit create video. It auto detects the already imported clip from other camera and aks if you want to add to video. Say yes and you have both clips in video time synced. You can select which you want inset and which you want as main.

Good time to kick up your feet and catch up on some reading. It might push through in a couple of hours.

Yeah, it was pretty sporty yesterday around Chicago. I got to play one of my favorite games, get 3 kids into the suburban in the pouring rain. Good times.....

Same front came through NW Iowa during the night. Tornado warnings and all. I was worried about Red Bo being tied up outside, but she came through unscathed.
Sporty indeed.

Made it back yesterday. Departed at 7:15. (about a 2.5 hour delay) Hour flight. IMC the entire way. Even at FL290. Left 040 off 16 at KPWK. Maintain 2,000. Then Direct OSH Direct KSAW. Step climb to FL290. Some ice and continuous moderate turbulence through FL230.

What is amazing to me was at least three bizjets landed when it was pouring and thunderstorming. A CJ3 came to Hawthorne. Part 135. Passengers were shook. They did one missed. Winds were variable switching nearly 180 degrees at 25 knots. Pilots were a couple of gray hair guys. They were really glad to be on the ground but not shook. Just couldn't imagine landing in that weather.

Hats off to that crew.

Why I have XM AND ADS-B

I swear it drops off at the worst possible moments.

Mark, mine is panel installed in the Apex, but the XM never, never drops off. When I had the baron xm receiver in the Mooney, it seemed to drop off coming over lakeland......could never figure out why.
