Yeah, I totally forgot about those guys. https://www.castleair.com/ They’ve grown a lot over the years. The last time I was there I think they were operating six Aerostars among others. Mike Grossman is an active AOA member. Good guy. He runs a real clean operation.

they both have good information. so join both and learn. like any activity especially with a bunch of type A people there are different opinions and you should search for the reasoning behind them to fully understand the situation.

I am on the A-F list and a member of AoA.

IMHO, there are not enough A* owners & enthusiasts to support 2 Forums - it just subtracts from both.

Setting up a second board just seems puerile.

Opinions are like noses, everyone has one.

I agree that one Aerostar organization ought to be enough.

That Bob and I have made the sustained effort to maintain an alternative ought to be an indication that we believe the reason for the A-F remains valid.

If you dig around on this string (pages 8-11) or on the early posts on the A-F you will find plenty of details on the reasons for the rift.

If you want a current point of view…..

Ask the current AOA Board members who were on the AOA Board back in 2014.

I believed then, and I believe now, that Aerostar owners and prospective owners need an unbiased source of information.

Heck ask on the AOA Forum what happened to me.

Listen to what you are told.

If you have it together enough to keep an Aerostar in Europe, your nose can tell the difference between s$&t and shineola.
