Would that dark grey get hot in the sun like black does?

I wan’t to see a Pilatus in Pearlescent White with Gold or Silver. Interior white cream with Stainless Grey.

The worst part of all Pilatus are the paint schemes. Figure out a great one and you’ll get your money back.

Can't argue with that. PC12 paint jobs are awful.

I think keeping the stripes at the bottom of the fuselage and turning them up at the tail is the correct look. But Pilatus keeps painting the stripes down at the tail like the one I posted above.

I have a buddy that bought a CJ2+ a few months ago. He's a big guy and is always traveling with people. He was so happy he saved a million $$ over buying a CJ3. He said "aw hell, I'll just make the fuel stop and save million $$". I told him he'd get sick of making fuel stops.

He just ordered a CJ4.

He should have ordered a 3+.

I agree. I really like the 3+. He's die hard Cessna. I'll bet he never even looked at anything that wasn't Cessna. The 4 fit his needs so he ordered one..... brand new. Pick out paint and interior. Everything.

I have always liked this one. Saved it long ago and still think it makes the lines of the plane look good. Maybe a lighter color on bottom besides the red?

My experience after 30+ years in product management.Everyone is a designer. Not!
Get with the people who do this for a living, a la Scheme Designers, and make your mistakes on a monitor.
This is as much science as it is art. The ratio of length to height, tail design, etc, all critical in designing just the right scheme. Designs don’t scale well. They have to be designed for that particular profile. What looks good on a Bo or a TBM or a BJB won’t look good on a PC12 and vice versa.

Not as much I don't think.

I like that one too and was actually looking at a photo of that exact plane this AM.

I think I would rather the red fill in the area in the middle. Hard to explain.

I think, due to all of the fairings and such on the underside of the wing, that a mono colored dark underside is best.

That scheme has a real 70's vibe to it (to my eye), but I think it is on the right track.

That giant rudder fairing is an interesting design challenge.

Never understood why in aviation everyone's is obsessed with adding multi-colored stripes. Clutters planes up and make them look truncated or foreshortened and messes with the lines. Big clean neutral colors, and then an accent on the tail/engines of another color looks so much better, in my opinion. Less is more - let the hull shape speak for itself. Like this:

On PC12 yes I agree. I want a color that hides the boots as opposed to pretending like they aren't there.
