Well that is unfortunate, I'm going to immediately enroll in MB's school of BT writing. I think we are all reading and assuming too much into this topic. My GA knowledge a year ago was like a single speck of sand on a beach. Thanks to BT, I now have enough GA sand to make a small beach. I also appreciate your PC-12 knowledge and experience Does giving a false ride report make me a horrible person?

At the end of the day, what manufacturers should be doing (which I think that the PC12 has done in spades) is introduce non-flying people to the fold.........I see a fair number of PC12 owned but not flown (use a contract pilot) by folks using GA with a purpose........
I'm bullish on the PC12 if the markets continue to go up, bullish if it does down (as it becomes a much better alternative to expensive hourly counterparts) and if the Denali comes to fruition, it may reduce new sales of the PC12, but the existing market I think will rise........folks will look at a new one, say boy, that's pricey, let me grab a used model..........BOOM I'll be the first guy to sell his PC12 for twice what he paid.........but then I'm stuck needing to buy something else...........
geez Brent, see where we are at now?
100% Bonus Deprecation alone will drive sales, support markets and bring new blood into GA... hold on to your hats boys... we’re in for a wild ride! You’re PC12 will probably increase in value even with new competition.
I agree with you guys in the short term, I think we will be in good shape for the next 5 or so years. We will see if the Denali even makes it out by then. After 5 years when the 100% depreciation starts to wind down and the Denali is out, who knows..... Penman will be in a 24 by then so it won't matter to him.

In addition to being able to reach higher smoother air often found at FL410 - FL450 the other reason jets are often smoother is wing loading.
I don't know airliners or their wing loading, but it seems like they are more susceptible to turbulence than private jets.

So a BBJ is less susceptible to turbulence than a 737? How about for a Challenger 604 versus a CRJ or Embraer Legacy 600 versus ERJ? All kidding aside, what is your basis for the statement above? -Neal

My apologies, I often post on here while I'm on the phone and in haste I may leave out details.
I'm really just saying I don't know what the wing loading is for a BBJ / 737... I do know that a Sovereign is a lot rougher ride than say a Hawker or G280... so private jets with high wing loading have a smoother ride as compared to a 737, 757, etc. or other private jets with a lower wing loading like the Sovereign, Latitude or BBJ. That combined with airliners being in the 30's and there's the turbulence issue.

My buddy Lance was at Flight Safety, flying a engine out missed approach or the like... evil instructor screaming in his ear the whole time.
Lance finally said "you know, I could do this a lot better without you screaming at me"
The instructor very calmly said "better me screaming at you, than your wife and children"
