I'm in my 5th year on my batteries (Concorde AGM). On a quick turn, engine is already warm, so less of a load to start, so not as critical as the first start of the day. If the GPU is available, it doesn't not add time to start process, perhaps reduces it a few seconds from faster spin up. Mike C.
That is good battery life for the standard sized batteries.
I use series for all starts and the spin up is fast.
Do you do a gen assist start on parallel?

I have a in response, meaning I get it. We should start a comedy club.

I have a pee tube that works well for men and women. Clean water is poured down the tube after use.

Jet starts don't need to rotate the prop and easier on a battery. Much depends on the match of engine and battery. Mustang battery is undersized and benefits from GPU starts.
Engine health is not my problem when on an engine program.

Dunno. From what I hear you should have a pilot in the aircraft whenever the APU is running. APU is another engine with the expense. Some airports limit the duration of APU operation. APU makes the airplane self sufficient. You can heat or cool the cabin on the ground and keep avionics powered up. It depends.
