Let's be sure we don't end up with an RU5 in this thread. :btt:

The topic is Cirrus has a product and marketing plan that is kicking Cessna, Peeper and Beech's butt. BTW, why did Mooney die? They had a die hard owner loyalty group just as devoted as Beech. Why did they go bankrupt like Beech did?

Cirrus has also been Bankrupt. Probably will be headed there again. IMO, they will never sell enough planes at $600+ to be profitable.

Here we go again. You make me feel right at home....with a house full of hormonal, sniping women.

Jason, again, comes up with honest, well-thought-out observations that some may not agree with because he may have a different (newer? fresher? less biased?) outlook than many of us older codgers have.

Even if I don't 100% agree with everything he says, he gives me good reason to think about things from a new perspective.

The 'aviator' market is small, the 'pissed off at the TSA' market is potentially enormous.

That is the number one, most important concept that everyone in aviation and here at BT can come to terms with right now. That is the future of airplanes.

I am a Canadian living in South America. When the TSA wide-open-grope-wives&kids-free-for-all took shape I decided that I would not subject my wife and three boys to the molestation. I earned/studied/trained/earned/bought an aircraft that we can use to fly ourselves in private comfort as we please and as we see fit.
