MH's quote about sharing airplanes "I'd rather share my wife" Yup. Exactly.... But, Mine flies a lot. That poor CJ3 sits for months at a time.

But their response to my comments about "sitting" were..... "well it's on programs, anything that breaks gets fixed".

My target for capital cost of my aircraft is 10% of my net worth (give or take). My target for annual operating cost is 10% of my income (give or take). I am comfortable spending that much for a hobby/something that I want. If (and when...they used to, but not anymore) the aircraft are a business tool then the equation changes and more is appropriate. The amount you CAN spend in aviation is limitless. These are just my personal targets to set some limits on myself. So to answer your question...YES in that case, I would buy the jet. Glenn

There is no way to like your post on For Sale, but that point is spot-on! RUMINT is that the build slots are sold out for 2019 as well. It is one of the few times that a fat stack of cash or bank letter can't buy something. When you stack it up, would the new Denali will be able to compare against your used PC-12, outside of the warranty and new plane smell? Unless they change the laws of aerodynamics and thermodynamics the Denali will just be a larger engine and to have comparable fuel burn will mean that it needs to fly higher.

HSI = Hot Section Inspection
Wing Pull is another required inspection.
All part of owning turbines.

Glenn OK. Now I need get $100MM in the bank. Then I'll buy a $10MM jet. I agree with you.

Every 10 years PC12's need wing removal and inspection. It's not mandatory but my salesman is telling me a buyer will want it done. So I'm getting it done.
