Servicing 80 PC12 planes is not small potatoes.
FWIW Cutter is also a TBM service and sales center.

I had heard that, but nothing came up in a Google search, we used them for a Pilatus prepurchase inspection last year and then after closing discovered they overlooked an airworthiness issue, asked them to make it right and they refused... it was $1300! Considering the invoice was well over $100k I was surprised at their attitude.
Its hard to believe anyone would go out of business in our current cycle, most shops have airplanes on the ramp just waiting to get in! Thanks for confirming!
To clarify, Greenpoint didn’t go out of business, they shut the PC12 service center down. Why? Small company purchased by a big company that was purchased by a bigger company and due to the enormous size of the parent company, the PC12 line of business was so small (and different) that they shut it down. Greenpoint is owned by Safran, something like a 20B in sales.
In general, Greenpoint had a great reputation among PC12 owners. They serviced around 80 planes, from what I understand, most of the Greenpoint PC12 crew went to work for Cutter which will turn their KADS location into a Pilatus service center. While there will probably be some short term bumps, having Cutter as a sales and service center for the South Central US will be better for Pilatus owners long term.
Tempus, located at KAPA and the former Pilatus South Central sales and service center, did go bankrupt. Not too surprising though.
