Patrick - how did it go with the offer you put in on your 690A?

Very good, think we arrived at a fair price. I like the plane. We've agreed the price and I've made a substantial deposit via the escrow agent. The painfully slow bit is getting a prebuy done around thxgiving.

Great news! Let me know if you need contacts (with lots of Commander experience) that can do pre-buy.

Thanks, prebuy is teed up and airplane will be flying to a turbo commander expert Monday, for 150 hour/annual/prebuy.
I'm confident prebuy will go well, I have insurance ready to go, in aircraft initial training and ground school lined up, mentor pilot and hangarage all arranged.
Only thing out of whack is the thxgiving, x-mas period which may cause my getting up in the air as quickly as I would to take a bit longer than I would have hoped. I'm going to be putting it back on the N-reg after it being a Canadian plane for bit of time, have my N number reserved...
My Baron goes in for annual also on Monday and that shop is backed up as well, I'm kind of confused what I'm going to be doing over the month, other than reading and rereading the 690A AFM/POH. Maybe it's time to finally get around to working on my rotary certificate.

It's probably bad luck to post prior to having the title in my name but...

Annual/150h/prebuy is in process and scheduled to be completed by end of this week. Holiday travel plans look to push my initial training to after x-mas, at the earliest, assuming no issues from prebuy. This waiting around is painful...

How much trouble is it changing back? Did you use a service to do this or did you do it yourself?
