If some person bought (or is buying) a jet of some sort and it is what he wants for whatever reason, more power to him. If he (or anyone else) says something that you consider to be BS, just relax let it slide....it isn't going to cost YOU a danged PENNY! There are a lot of "Keyboard Kommandos" on the internet and they deserve nothing more than to be IGNORED.
Anyone purchasing an airplane is likely to want some advice, but that person has to be a realist wearing his big boy panties, so let him/her make their own decisions based on whatever advice HE OR SHE thinks is worthwhile after doing some research and performing a little due diligence.
Oh...and just a thought---what is being kicked around here is a CITATION...it is NOT a G650, an 8X or a Global of some stripe or anything REALLY EXPENSIVE like maybe a big BBJ of some sort...so just let the guy alone and let him enjoy his airplane/airplane flying and GET OFF OF HIS CASE!! ’ OMG

Now, thanks to Don, I have to go back and read the middle nine pages...or not. Here's the Reader's Digest version, since I had to read the whole thing... Some guy using the name "Keith Gordon" claimed his wife recently came into $150M and he was in the process of upgrading from a Bo to a CJ4. In fact, the CJ was in the shop for paint while 'ol Keith was getting his multi and type. Oh, I forgot to mention that Keith is also an airline pilot...without a multi. Keith was a little squirrelly with details, but did (eventually) privately supply an N number to a BT'er...which turned out to be CJ in transition from Textron ownership to some Japanese governmental agency. I think that about sums it up. If I missed anything relevant in my summary, please feel free to add. In conclusion, everyone smelled the BS and then called BS. Non-multi-but-ATP Keith is now a former BT member.

I got to find out who Jack Rebney was. Wasted 15 minutes on YouTube but laughed my rear off. Rebney and Bobby Knight are cut from the same cloth... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ZD1vkzYmyI

7 posts in 8 years and “having flown Hawkers, Challenger 601s and 604s all over the world, Piaggio Avanti P180s, Barons (actually T-42s) and boatloads of various military and civil King Airs for thousands of hours”, Don decides to bring back a post from 4 years ago to defend lucky Keith, the soon to be CJ pilot’s wild tale... Who knows, maybe Keith and Don are friends!
