Somebody in Cessna marketing should be afraid for their job for approving that paint.

I disagree on that point. The paint is so ugly, people are talking about it. People talking about the re-launch of an old plane is a good thing.

Someone in Cessna marketing should think about doing what Porsche does with the 911 ever so often. Offer a stripped-down RS version with all the fru-fru stuff omitted. Come up with some carbon-aramid seat shells, leave out the AC, no key-fob (and required actuators), no leather, single layer paint etc. Just a fast plane.

As for the price. Well, Cessna tried to move component construction to a low-wage environment, I wish they had gone about it in a way that works.

What someone needs to hit upon the head for is the lag in FIKI certification. Even with the delamination troubles, there should have been enough existing airframes to get this done during the production halt.

I like this interior shot. When I flew the 400 I loved the feel of the plane, and the perceived roominess of the cockpit without a yoke in front of you.

Nice pic. I'd hate to have to read those overhead switch labels with my bifocals, though.

What are the two sliders infront of the fuel selector knob?
