Didn't set standard pressure in the flight levels. I'm surprised the EFIS doesn't have an annunciator or reminder of some sort.

I would guess that both sides were selected to the wrong baro otherwise the altitude would have been amber.

I will hold my tongue on the rest :)

I've only flown 1 airplane that gave an annunciation, and I hated it. It wasn't pilot selectable, so it ALWAYS notified at 18,000. . that's fine in the US. Is really useless in Europe and most other ICAO countries!

Having flown an Enstrom helicopter, King Air 200, C-150, B55 Baron, and a Cherokee all in 3 weeks time I think I did pretty good in the Bravo. It was all me on the controls from startup to shutdown and my only mistake was missing the baro above 18k. I hand flew the plane from takeoff to 20k and we were in IMC for most of the trip.

I think I did pretty good overall. Now, hold on while I pat myself on the back :D

Nice shot. I am a captan on an Embraer Legacy jet that uses the Honeywell Primus system. We have dual Honeywell FMS where we set the transition altitude before departure and it then advises us when we pass through. I'm guessing that you guys must use a different FMS that doesn't have that ability. It is a useful tool and has saved me many times.

The FMS is a Universal, but I forget the model number. We just plain screwed up. I had a great landing though.

. . . and we all know that the landing is all that counts.

Thanks for honesty and pics. I'm really happy for you, and glad you get to do flying like that.
