From the front, rear, side, inside, the passenger had her hand out of the window with no visible wind on her sleeve. The sound did not include wind or motor noise while flying with the window open. They were extremely low. Was this really filmed live? In one of the shots you can see the camera mounted on a black post coming off the front of the airplane. Im sure they had a camera on the tail and fuselage.

I will agree with Jason, where is the big boy version for people who want to actually go places. I would imagine the floats (sponsons...whatever) could be designed as a lifting body and negate some of the drag. Throw three hundred or so ponies behind that thing and make it a four seater.
If the cruise could get up to at least 160kts then you are talking about an awesome cross country airplane with lots of landing options. Like this? http://teamlake.com/Listings/sn_025/

Does it cost so much more to create a legitimate cross country version? Then it would be a Lake and it would cost $500K or a Seawind and it would be vaporware. Not that it isn't vaporware already.... You bet! Huge fun, and flying low over water in a FLYING BOAT isn't that big of a deal. Have a problem? Just land. You are always over a "runway."
If I were to hit the lottery, a Grumman Goose would be in the top 5 planes. Yeah, but he was feet from the rocks. I hate to be "That Guy" but there are worthy/acceptable risks with a passenger and him skimming the rock ladden shore is not one of them. Again, if this was a real flight at all.

The same could be said for anyone foolish enough to fly a single engine airplane over unsuitable landing terrain, or at night, or in clouds. Chillax.

Not really... banking with your wingtip 3 feet from some rocks is not the same risk factor as flying a single at night
