I believe there are three prototypes flying out of the London, ON factory. The first two are the testbeds, the third one is 'conforming' for the certification process.

C-GVLJ serial# 01 (with winglets)
C-FPTM serial# 02 (the one in ATP livery with tail strakes)
C-GUPJ serial# 03

....all are blocked on flightaware ;)

Reliability of turbofan engines is higher than turboprop engines. Most of that probably due to the elimination of the main gearbox. Also, from 25k, you can glide a long way, even if the fan goes quiet. If you don't want to cross oceans, this seems a reasonable compromise.

And heck, a guy deadsticked an F16 into Elisabeth City a couple of years ago, it can be done :eek: .

They have yet to ask her to the NBAA this year. I wouldn't be surprised if there were no Hondajet booth. I don't think they'll end up building it.
