They also have issues with the inspection plate over the actuators lines below the rear seat.
The hydraulic lines are routed along the side of the cavity and two places are prone to being nicked by screws of extra length.
Nick a line several times and oops.

Service letter on it but I still see the initial damage time to time.

I've flown a 182RG from time to time and I don't even know where to add hydraulic fluid. I'd assume you add it under the cowling, but how do you access that in flight? Is this some MacGuyver thing that can be done from within the cockpit?

IIRC, it's in between the L and R sets of rudder pedals on the RH side.

The worse part is, that's the airplane I did my Complex and HP endorsement in!!!

What puzzles me about the Cessna gear is that nobody has come up with a STC for a CO2 blow-down bottle for it yet.
