In my opinion this follows the same deal that that the Icon aircraft. It looks really cool, but it appeals to people that aren't pilots, and it will be under powered with the 140 horsepower.
The Mooney ovation, Beech F33B, and V35B, and the SR22 have engines ranging from 285 to 310hp on an Airframes that have empty weight of about 2200 to 2400lbs. I don't think its possible for this Aircar to be under 2000 pounds empty weight, and with a 140 horsepower engine, I figure it will be a pig.

The Klein vehicle is stylish enough that it might find a market. There are certainly guys out there who buy a Ferrari or Lambo just to have a 2-seater to take out on date night....
This would be in that same kind of market, maybe similar cost, very much a "James Bond" style for your date night adventures.
Cruise speed, IFR capability, payload... all become irrelevant. A ridiculous price is part of the appeal, instead of being a problem.

I was totally imagining a 50 or 60-something successful businessman trying to impress his 20 or 30 something trophy date with something like this. I suspect it would work. Hell, I might even put out for something like that.

Hmmmm. Maybe this guy can help Peter solve some of his issues with the Raptor? Seems like if you can make a car fly, maybe the raptor has a chance?
