Well second place in speed to the TBM, but I'll trade 5-10kts for the; useful load, seating, Lav (ok TBM has a Lav, but you give up seating), etc...

Only if you are roasting marshmallows on the Firewall. If you want it to last not quite 330.....

I just heard the PC12 announcement will be made at NBAA.

Was not one of the big improvements in the 90 series KA also a different cowl design? Odd that the factory would not have done that themselves.

For years I would look at the P-51 Carb Air Inlet below the Spinner and wonder why others didn’t do the same thing. I worked on a few Unlimited Racers that incorporated various Carb inlet setups, one was a large NACA flush opening that would bleed Manifold Pressure in a turn, and all ended up with a P-51 Type Carb scoop near the prop.
