I was down at Del's shop a few weeks back and witnessed the work being done on this airplane.......I have only one word......craftsmanship......

Another experienced source in Canada told me today that it takes 4-6 hours to go from floats to wheels.

10-12 hours amphib to wheels.

That’s one way timing when all parts are there. Spreader bar really helps too.

what kind of amphib floats are these?
Do you have a set of wheels?

Edo 3500.
Yes I have spare land gear, stinger, and wheels. They are already on the plane. The plane has already been painted. Getting close to removing wheels and reinstalling floats.

Some guy in a hangar next to me has a C185 on amphibs (I think he is from Marquette). I watched him taxi out one day on the floats and the next day I see his floats setting beside his hangar. Must not be too bad of a job. Gotta say for $1000, I like your way better. :thumbup:

At first I only saw the top of this photo, then I saw below his legs.... looked like a bad day in the hangar at first... :bugeye:
