I would think a Little Fresh Air, might have helped a Bit

What a sad fate for what is a fairly good airplane. It really is gut-wrenching, the fleet's not getting bigger and I've got a soft spot for the 210. Way back when, the ARC's all got stolen from my Cardinal - I paid about $500 'betterment' to upgrade the insurance replacements to KX170B's - I was pumped. Randy

I’m trying to place a sub 10k bid but I can’t get Controller to accept the bid. Any suggestions?

Quote: Free is probably too high of a price for that plane. I would pay something for a plane like that for a static display.

That was my first thought as well. Little doubt that JJ Merchant wrote that description and included a full set of shocking photos, I mean that close up shot of the flat front tire is pure evil, to teach the owner a lesson. And probably to maintain their professional reputation! Though I wonder why they took the deal at all given the owner's delusional expectations. But props to them (pun intended) for going about this the way they did. "Ok, if you insist, but we're going to have full truth in advertising. No single pic and call for price shenanigans on this." p.s. I love the Vanna White-esque pic of the hand wave over the # plate. These guys are good!! Humor and integrity. Love it.

For example if you wanted to bid $1000, would it take 111368.00 JPY? (Japanese Yen) You could also call and give them the offer verbally. Frankly, they should pay you to haul it off....

Alternatively, they have no clue what they're dealing with.
From JJ Merchant's web site...
Knowledgable Staff Our staff has over 60 years of buying, selling and marketing all types construction/industrial equipment, trucks, trailers and related type items experience between them. They are dedicated to helping you sell your item or find the perfect piece for you, whether it be one item or a complete fleet.
Interesting choice of broker by the owner.

Devils advocate. If the gear is in good shape the swivels alone would make it a decent buy at 10 or 15K. RAS
