In winter going west I have hit 200GS at times and tell my wife we are standing still. As my dad would say, you guys are ruined. I hit 160kt gs in the cherokee once and wanted to keep going way past my destination just to feel like a big boy

Paul and/or others... I love the C2 - it's a great plane. But looking at Paul's photo... 1. Your plane is FAST. Book speed at 29000 at max cruise at light weight is 290 KTAS (interpolating on temps)! Congrats! 2. The G600 shows that 181 KIAS converts to 299 KTAS at that altitude and temperature, but my trusty e6B indicates it should be more like 294? What is Garmin doing that my E6B and online calculators aren't? Thanks, Matt Username Protected wrote:

It must be PFM. I have noticed and the TAS as calculated on a G500/600 takes winds into account and sometimes will vary by a couple of knots with same temps and power settings as the winds change. I am not sure about actual algorithm.

I need to get an 850. Impressive and 35 knots faster than my 700B. Nice.
