My view of the G600 doesn't seem to be obscured or difficult to read. It's not quite a heads up display, I guess, but nothing I've found to be an issue. Not sure if the actual view is something you can get a sense for from this picture, maybe?

I like the Concorde Yoke type
Looks good from this view, yes.

My G600 install is fully clearly visible with no problems from the pilots' positions. It may look lower than it is because, in order to get a good picture you need to photograph from above (and the control column is high). I'm 6'1'' and am not finding it too low.

Understood now, in order to take a good panel picture, it looks "low" but it's not, thanks.

The potty has some curtains you can pull around but it isn't really what I would consider private

I see. To be used for Emergency then.
C441 is better for that. AC1000 is different, it's in the back right ? ... and less luggage space then ?

My luggage is not pressurized or heated

That's sad they didn't manage a better system.

My aircraft is just visiting France at the moment, which is fully legal not an issue if you only visit for a brief period and you are not resident in the EU

Myself also, not resident in Europe, but French custom give me hard time for 7 hours (!) trying to get some $$$ VAT from me but i win at the end :box:
My next "baby" will go via Denmark, I'll pay 35k€ VAT and they give you the European VAT form stamped.

Not to get too sidetracked, I'm not a tax expert but I believe that the Danish route closed several years ago, after Denmark succumbed to pressure from the EU.

It's still working, I'm in touch with them; it's not good as before but it's possible and more complicate when it's a FAA aircraft for private use.
You need to use an American trustee company but trustee contract must bee sign by a European company ... you can create a cheap European company and close it after a year, no big deal ;)

"beneficial owner of the trust is a European company"

"Our solution is available for all business operated aircraft. An AOC is not required. Corporate aircraft flying with employees and board members etc for business purposes are qualified for our procedure, however an "empty" holding company or holding trust with no real activity (except holding the title for the aircraft) and aircraft flying privately for the owner/principal/executives outside the conduct of business without these paying compensation do not qualify. Leasing of aircraft is considered to be full business use of an aircraft. The importing entity must be the owner of the aircraft and well-established with audited accounts handled by an external fiscal auditor or chartered accountant/CPA from a recognised international firm. Some business activities are not subject to VAT in Denmark like selected real estate activities, banking/finance, insurance, gaming and holding companies etc. "

I put all kinds of stuff in the cargo compartment with no problem.

It does get cold back there after a 4 or 5 hour flight but not as cold as you might think.

That's is where the pressurization system is located. That and the bleed lines from the engines helps keep the baggage area from getting cold like the OAT. Some are heated and I am sure you could add heat if you wanted.

The Garrett powered airplanes do not have ice deflection doors (ice vanes) I think that only works on an engine (PT-6) that is installed backwards.

The Conquest are good planes with stout landing gear but their engine inlets and props are just that much closer to all the FOD.

The high wing on the Commander places both the inlets and props farther away from the FOD. That and just the size of the wing along with the power to weight ratio makes the Commander a good choice.

The US market has been steadily losing Commanders to overseas operators because of these qualities.

Gotcha, there is a different Danish route than the old one, which as I recall it was to was just to import it to Denmark first and pay the full bill due at their 0% rate. :D
