6' and 170. I fit perfectly in Malibu, though the hard headliner in the mirage brushed my headset.

Fit even better in the MU2.

In my experience, 6 3 was about the limit for people not complaining about the Malibu. 7.5hour flights were no problem for me.

When the Bonanza was designed in 1945, people were still wearing hats when travelling. The average height has grown since, but no more hats now.

A major car purchase criterion for my father was headroom while wearing his hat. He was 6'2" and needed additional room for his fedora.

Ditto on the MU2, at least for me. Love the plane; hate the pilot seating. Got more room in a 35.

The Merlin is a very roomy cabin class aircraft with a 7 psi pressure diff. 6'2" and comfortable. Texas built.

Now you're just making me jealous! We had one Metro III that had the right bulkhead removed. They were already comfortable, but what a world of difference it made.

I'm VERY happy with the room in the SR. Well, at least with the 4 seat places. I miss my big baggage door in the 35. And I wouldn't make a peep if Tyler were near by in his TwinBo. But there's no shoulder rubbing.

Me and my brother are both 6ft+ and 250lb+ and fit happily side by side without touching in our old 210. Having your own armrests for both sides is a big plus. When sitting in the back my headset will just barely touch the headliner during bumps. Not a problem since I hardly ever find myself back there but one of my pet peeves nonetheless. Up front Ive yet to find turbulence bad enough to hit my head.

400 series twin Cessna has a luxuriously comfortable cockpit. But they come with the cost of doing business which is quiet a bit higher than a Malibu.

I second the Cirrus, most comfortable plane I've been in up front. Piper Lance was great as well, though almost tight on headroom. C182 pretty good. The headroom in the Baron / Bonanza is ok for me, shoulder room tight. 6'2" 195lbs, with a long torso and short legs.

767 simulator at the Delta HQ wasn't too bad either, and I hear baggage room's more than adequate (though the simulator itself isn't good for traveling unless you have a Peterbilt)

Nate, what's your useful load? Those accoutrements are gorgeous but look heavy.

Not to worry, with a black interior in Texas, you will sweat off the pounds before takeoff.

It doesn't get more comfortable than my bench seat tbone. The copilot rudder pedals are in the middle so I fly with my right foot on the right rudder pedal. My right arm draped on the back of the bench and around my wife. I'm 6'5" 210. Cruising.

That is the trade off. UL is just under 900.

In the Bo, I topped off after every flight. In the SR, I wait until I know what my mission is. At tabs (60 gallons), I can take me plus 375 lbs of guests and luggage for 3 hours. That easily gets me to Houston, which is most most popular destination.

It fits 95% of my mission. I'd still like to have the extra 200 lbs of UL the newer G5's have, but not the cost.

And the black interior isn't an issue even in TX. I do spread a sheet over the seats when it's really hit, but the a/c works INCREDIBLY well.

I believe the 2004 Mirage model on as more leg rooms as the seats backs are extended.
Im 6'2 and it was a tight fit, not comfortable on long flights.

The TBM as lots of leg room espercially when you remove the cabinet behind the seats and move the seats 1-2 holes back like mine is.
I cant touch the rudder pedals when its all the way back.

I thought the TBM had great leg and head room but my shoulders rubbed the sidewall in every seat, which was surprising. If that cabin had 4" more width, it would make a world of difference.
