If anybody is a real glutten for punishment I have the TSG-134 which is Honeywells Technical Study Guide on the 331 engine. Big document with very in depth data on how everything in the engine works and why. Was especially enlightening with regard to the P/L and C/L interaction in various modes.
I think I have it on a server somewhere, gotta check.
I agree 100%! I used to teach the Metroliner in a 135 operation and I used many pieces of that that book as my textbook for the engine. I had to squeeze the engine into a day and a half, which was tough to really learn it. That book is the manual used to teach the week long line maintenance class at the manufacturer in Phoenix. If you understand your engine from that book, you'll understand the engine well enough to be able to explain any issue to maintenance.
I still have a clean copy that I bought back then.. It's priceless!
