Was first on his lowly Lear 35, then short lived Lear 60 (crashed) and now on the GV.

I poop you not, actor Eddie Murphy had a Lear with the somewhat controversial:

N155ER

I actually heard this call sign on the radio about 2 months ago near New Orleans...and someone came on the radio and blurted "shutup idiot!", apparently thinking someone was messing around.

My brother tried to get N1DC several years ago for his jet. His initials are DC. It was owned by someone connected with the Dallas Cowboys. It may have been Jerry Jones.

When my 2 twenty something year old sons were helping pick our N-number they said it was a shame that zeros could not be used.

The number they wanted was N00KY.

Pretty easy to tell what was on their mind.

Yes, Jerry has owned it since the 90's. Number one Dallas Cowboys. Would get the controllers stirred up when going to an away game :D

The state of TN has a couple of King Airs (maybe more than two). Anyway, the KA350 has a tail number the pilots pronounce "November One Tennessee" (N110EC). It is the one our governor uses for official business most of the time.

The state's KA90 has tail number N210EC.

These planes get a lot of usage.

About a year ago I landed in Dayton, TN, and did a double-take when I saw a Debonair with N3Q. Two digit tail numbers have been reserved for government usage for a long time. I'd like to know the history of the Debonair's number.
