I just sent photo of one yesterday to the Cougar and Cub begging for permission to buy one. I got a split vote, dag nabit!

This 172 used to be at Surfside - not sure if it is any more. Except for Brown's, a couple of hours in this plane is all I have on floats - gotta fix that this summer. Attachment: 892 on St Croix.jpg

At the KCFE fly-in I was lucky enough to get a ride in it and go puddle jumping for about an hour. Since then, I have been doing a bunch of homework on how to get one to fit in my hangar......I will put you and Greg B first on the passenger list! I will warn you, if you get a ride in one, you will want one Great call on PWC! They could not have gave it a better identifier (Personal Water Craft ) I have seen a Duke coming out of there and I think I am the only one that actually signs in and out in the visitor log book. My wifes parent's cabin is just to the east 10 min (Fifty Lakes) My good friends rental is on the north side of Trout. It is sooo easy!!!!!! Very cool Tommy - sign me up! We should have a local BTer lunch sometime anyway. There are a lot of us up here.

I guess it's not around any more. I'm letting you know, right now. Lots of time off this summer not spoken for otherwise. The Super Cub looks nice too. When do the planes get back from Florida?

The 180 spent the winter in MN and should be able to fly when the ice is off. The 172, 185 and the Beaver (new as of a few months ago) should be back in early May.
Best days of my summer last year were flying the Bonanza into Surfside to go fly floats! A Beaver…. Oh my. You're going uptown! PM coming with contact info. I think I heard of that Super Cub shenanigan - sorry… Back to the OP. At Sun 'n Fun a few years ago one of the first airplanes I ran into was a CTLS on amphibs. I didn't think I'd ever like an LSA but that one was intriguing - seemed the perfect setup for a fishing trip somewhere.

Bottom floor was a hangar big enough for a 182 on amphibs. Top floor was a really nice 3 bedroom home with a great view out onto the lake. I would need two places like that, one in MN lake country, the other in central FL This one on Vermilion is pretty impressive…. Attachment: Vermillion.jpg

Try to get a building permit for this today... I imagine this is tricky with any kind of wind.
