But I have found the cockpit to be reasonably comfortable. My front seats have 3 degrees of freedom, tilt, elevation, and depth, and if you get those right, it works quite nicely. The control column through the floor hasn't been an issue.
I did get rid of the avionics pedestal so the access to the seat is VASTLY easier. What a difference that makes. It still takes a tiny bit of "Citation yoga" to get in and out, but nothing like it was before, and less than my MU2 was.
I fly with passengers in the right seat at times and they don't seem to have trouble or complaints. I've had people up to 6'6" in the right seat.

Not in my opinion. I've owned an SF50, an M2, and now a CJ3+. The Gen 2 has curve to the cabinetry behind the pilot seat, that helps add an inch or two of recline, but that was added in M2 versions prior to the Gen 2. The early ones had a tad less recline ability. I also owned a TBM 960. I find the cockpit seating in the Citation to be the worst of the bunch. I'm not exaggerating when I say that my wife sometimes says we should go back to the SF50, just because she finds the cockpit so uncomfortable in the 3+. She's 5'4" and 140 lbs.
If I were to downsize, the SF50 would be my plane of choice. It is not as versatile as the SETP's, but it is by far the quietist, and most comfortable. I despise the Jetstream and Williams programs, but the airplane sells new for almost $1M to $2M less than a new Epic, M700, or TBM 980. As Mike C has explained, you can pay for some stuff if you save some $ on capital expenditure. In the case of the SF50, it goes to Cirrus and Williams!

I love Cirrus and Cessna's product evolutions. "We've included a lighted ashtray and some fancy wingtip lights...it will revolutionize aviation." At least the CJ4 Gen3 finally has a Garmin flight deck, that's a least is a notable model evolution.
