The motor is hummin’! I cant wait. Are you fixing the ducting for the AC? That was my only complaint with the airplane. The AC didnt blow nearly has much as the Cirrus or Bonanza. I think I still have a set of keys and the original POH laying around.

Was first order of business. It had massive leaks - mainly around the read O2 gauge. Once the motor is done I’ll be reworking all the plastics, but for now its sealed.

Your entire post which can be summarized as mines bigger but posting it in anothers thread makes you appear to be 5 foot 3 Actually I was attempting to stimulate a discussion about the actual useful load, range and speed of these competing aircraft. From many of the posts I read a lot of misinformation exists about these aircraft.
Comments like yours make me realize I was wasting my time.

BT was once a place founded on mutual respect, and information sharing. New content was generated daily by active members eager to share their knowledge and experience for the benefit of the group. We had active moderators who worked to preserve the culture.
I miss those days, but its hard for me to complain if I’m not willing to generate content myself. While we have lost many real experts, I am willing to share what little I know and learn to attempt to preserve a bit of that old BT experience. I have learned so much about aviation and life from those guys. I have MANY real life friendships that can be traced back to BT.
I am not a brand loyalist. Having owned many types I can tell you they all do some things great and some poorly. Loading up a TN A36 with Docs and going into a bush strip in Mexico would be a really bad idea for example (regardless of what the W&B says).
Hopefully others will see this and will put in the work to create content as well. Without it, we are nothing more than a glorified comments section on a news site.
BTT
Wow. For the record I’ve been flying since 82, have flown Cessna 150/152/172/182 and Piper Warriors, Archers and Turbo Saratoga and have owned a Piper Arrow III. Also the Cruiser 140, Tomahawk and an intro flight in an M350. Oh, and I’ve owned a Beech A36 since 1990. I’ve upgraded interiors, added an aft baggage bay (not the kit, but the same way Beech does it on their late model 36’s). I’ve swapped props, upgraded avionics multiple times, added shoulder harnesses, was flying WAAS avionics before BT was formed, upgraded engines (I assisted with the entire installation from start to finish), added baffle kit upgrades, got 2020 compliant and added a TAT TN. Virtually all of the Bonanza upgrades have been detailed or discussed in threads on BT. And on the Beech email list predating this site. I’ve tried to share my experiences and help others countless times. Now you know about me and my “motivations”. I have no problem avoiding your thread. I’ll do so from now on. If you want my posts deleted I’ll do that too. Life is too short.

We threaded the injector into a tube and used that to fish it into the threads and hand tighten. I now carry this tube in my tool bag. A clogged injector could ruin your day in Mexico and its an easy fix. Hmm. Can also ruin your day seaplaning. The skywagon will not get on step with just 1 injector clogged. Ask me and Ed Haines how we know!

Wish I was a mad scientist. Ring washed one cylinder with MMO. That was enough for me. But it fixed that cylinder. Only 11 more. Oil is cheap.

In many years of airport bumming and aviating I had not heard of "Ring Washing". Might try it on my MG at next oil change.... ( if I can figure out how to slowly rotate the engine) I printed out the "recipe"...
