Then the new Textron Aviation is in even worse shape than I expected. Maybe all the old guys -- like me -- are retired and the new kids didn't get the word.

Anyway -- I swear on a stack of Bibles this is true -- the correct SHPs should be 550 for the 90s (except F90, that has 750), 850 for the 200s, and 1050 for the 300-series. The original straight 90 as well as the A90 -- with the PT6A-6 and PT6A-20, respectively -- had their SHP flat-rated to 500. The full 550 was used from the B90 onward.

Of course, the TBM doesn't have a relief tube :D
Two relief tubes in my plane: one under the pilot's seat and one in back. I recently received rave reviews from a user of the facilities in back: mentioned how effective the suction was several times ;) Won't mention names.

Same setup in my 421. One of the new mechanics has never been the same around me since I showed him how to use the intercom during an inspection.

I don't know whats the big thing about a relief tube, a good Tide bottle works for me.

Really, if you plan accordingly, you can fly for a long time without needing to piss. Just don't drink anything for an hour before takeoff. It's not like taking a piss on Delta is a nice experience. I'd rather skip it all together.

Not me. We do the flights the PC12 guys turn down when the "Risk Matrix" for the PC12 doesn’t add up. The 100/1 departure out of Billings MT in a blizzard at 2am for example. With 4 King Air 200's we did around 1800 transports last year.

How does the PC12 not "add up"? Please be specific. I gotta see this "risk matrix". Sounds official and complex :D

Did you know there's a PC12 flying around the world right now?

I heard the pilot was pretty cute....

So let me get this straight... You leave the cockpit, open the doors to the lav, which closes off the cockpit, and have a PTT to make radio calls?

Come on...
