Too many places you cant go, altitudes you cant realistically fly at (think VFR), and the cost of operation will begin to wear on you. Yeah. Sometimes I feel it's the equivalent of buying an 18 wheeler to do a home improvement project. I fly a lot but I feel a 300's purpose is to fly a lot more than I fly.

Works great. Not a bad call. Perhaps I'll work in that direction.

Like I said... the PC12NG is ripe for upgrading. It's been practically the same since 2008. A salesman I recently spoke to this time last year felt the 2018 model would be a big upgrade.... he was surprised it wasn't. I'm afraid to buy the last year of the old model and 3 months later they announce the new model.

J-- I hate to say it but flying is boring and your experiencing what the Airline experiences daily. I would suspect you'd get a new plane then be in the same boat a few years later.. Planes are nothing more than time savers.. The act of flying is cool but 3 hours at altitude sucks !! Your Pc12 is bad ass... It works.. it does it all.. It gets you to the islands.. I wish I had it and the time to use it.... Grass is not greener on other side bro... Of corse if your looking to burn some cash the equation changes....It becomes a " because I can "

For now, the Universe made the decision for me. Now I'm getting quotes for HSI, wing pull etc. on my plane since I won't be trading it in.

@Jason - I am currently training at Lanier PDK (just shy of 50 hours) and would love the opportunity to fill the right seat if you have a short round trip sometime. My wife promised if we would have won the lottery she would buy me a Pilatus, so drooling over those sitting in Epps is about as close as I'm gonna get for a while And, no I am not a troll - just lurk alot so my post count is low. I have references if you need them
